Take me there!

It was an absolute privilege to welcome 109 guests, including 40 former Little Brothers, to the launch of our Centenary Celebrations at Calmsley Hill City Farm on Monday 3rd March.

This special reunion celebrated the milestone of 100 years of remarkable journeys and friendships, and a lasting legacy of 100 years of BBM.

Thank you to all who celebrated with us in person or in spirit, especially our two oldest Little Brothers, David Wightman and Jim Reardon, both 93, who kindly cut the cake, and to everyone who shared their story.

It was delightful to have family including babies and young children at the reunion; they are some of the estimated 97,613 direct descendants of Little Brothers in Australia today.

We also had two of our recent Global Footprints Scholars, Sian Thomasson and Kira Platt-Behrens, attend the event and share the stories of their travels overseas to learn about sustainability in horticulture. These scholarships are only possible thanks to the legacy of the Big Brother Movement.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the many events that we have scheduled for the year to celebrate 100 years of journeys.
